New audio and e-book: We Had Fun, Vrtanes Papazyan

The events take place in an Armenian village in Western Armenia during the late Ottoman period, when peasant life was shaped by taxation, official pressure, and constant insecurity. Through the episode of a single summer night, the text reveals village routines, relationships among people, brief moments of shared joy, and how fragile such moments are.
